"teach a fish to climb a tree" You have heard it before, and usually it is meant to indicate to stick to what you know, or stay in your lane, do not go offtopic etc.And yet, this is exactly what one of my clients asked me a few years back. Via Outlets, A fantastic company with a great track record of developing and managing outlet centres, wanted to future-proof their business by turning their outlets into omnichannel marketplaces. why would this be that fish I hear you ask? well: outlet companies provide service to retailers but do not sell to consumers themselves. The solution turned out to work like it belonged there since day one. We built an omnichannel marketplace, operated by a team of new people in the centre, fully assisted by an internal logistics process operated by "runners" who would use the stores as the warehouse. no stock buying, no split locations, basically e-commerce using an outlet centre as your warehouse.It turned out to be a great move, their first and oldest centre: BataviaStad went online recently, with more and more customers finding their way to the online store and more and more brands onboarding. what I find interesting in the usage and experimentation of #chatgpt , is that it makes people realize that the input has a great deal of influence on the quality of the output. In that sense this AI is just like a real human being; If you brief, instruct or request something poorly, you cannot expect top notch quality output.

Interessante move, al denk ik dat de benoemde voordelen grotendeels al door oplossingen zoals Apple Pay worden getackeld, en er met name in andere landen al een behoorlijke adoptie van deze methoden is t.o.v. Nederland #digitalpayments
