I love chicken cutlet, they are a very tasty snack. But in some bakery they just increase the amount of potatoes in them and reduce the chicken, i dont like that kind of cutlet. This is my way of making them. I like to use less potatoes and more chicken so you will get a tasty chicken cutlets. It is pretty easy to make as well.
How to Make Chicken Cutlet
- Heat oil in a pan and add in onions, saute till golden.
- Add in ginger garlic paste and green chillies. Saute for a min.
- Season in the salt and spice powders. Mix well.
- Add in chicken mince and cook till the mince turns golden.
- Take boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash it roughly. Add the mince and mix well.
- Add in 2 tbsp of breadcrumbs and mix well.
- Take small portion from it and shape it into a pattice.
- Mix flour with water to a runny liquid, dip the pattice in the mix and coat it in breadcrumbs.

@Anonymous since i have started giving all foods to her, somehow her palate managed it. Mornnig i used to give her nestum rice with milk. Inbetween bananas and apple and fruit juices. Afternoon, rice, paruppu podi and ghee or rice and milk, or ghee rice, or curd rice or dal rice.Evening boiled potatoes, which i used to order in hotels. then night nestum, idlies.

Tried the recipe today. It came out very very tasty. Prepared this for the first time.
I used left over chicken pieces from chicken kulambu and shallow fried as we do for fish fry.
Thanks a lot, Aarthi. Have tried many recipes from your site and it had never went wrong at all 🙂 you are very clear in explaining.Reply

hi Aarthi,
Can we make the patties (before frying) in advance and keep it in the fridge?
And just take it out when we need it and fry it? Will it become hard or will the taste change if its kept in the fridge? Thanks
smithaReply
Aarthi
@Unknownyes u can keep it in fridge. You can freeze the cutlets in a pan and once it is frozen, collect them in a container. You can fry them whenever you need them
